Mr David Rose
Independent Consultant, Minerals Industry
David was has been a Board Member of Leadership WA since 2006.
David is an Executive Manager with substantial, diverse experience in the mining industry across a range of commodities, in both open pit and underground mining. He has built a successful career over 30 years in operations, project management, executive management, and executive consulting roles.
David’s experience is with both major mining companies, most recently Rio Tinto, and smaller companies, most recently St Barbara Limited. He is currently working as an Executive Consultant on Operational Readiness and Operational Improvement programs for mining companies.
He has a BE Hons (Mining) University of Queensland and BA Hons (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) from Oxford University. He is a founding Member of Gija Total Health Advisory Group, Vice-Chairman of Christ Church Grammar School Council, a Fellow of the AusIMM, and a Graduate of the AICD.
