The Signature Leadership Program is Leadership WA’s flagship Program.

A carefully curated journey of 21 experiences over a year, Signature will stretch you intellectually and personally, as you develop your own courageous, powerful, and authentic leadership. By understanding strengths, motivators, and resilience, participants learn how to make a meaningful difference in their family, organisation, and state.

Participants have unique and privileged access to Western Australian’s most experienced and insightful leaders across private, community and government sectors.

When selecting our program participants, we gather together diversity of thought, industries and experience to create rich learning environment.

The Signature Leadership Program is for senior professionals from the corporate, government, small business and not-for-profit sectors looking to expand and enhance their capacity to be influential leaders in their organisations and the broader community.

Leadership WA graduates join an influential Alumni network that comes together regularly to continue to grow and learn, and to give back by contributing expertise and time to social impact activities across WA.

Applications for Signature Program 2019 are now welcomed. Applications close on 31 October 2018.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Signature Leadership Program takes participants on a journey of exploration in self-awareness, self-mastery, and understanding the complex and dynamic context of Western Australia. Participants explore leadership through the lens of current and future issues and engage with a range of inspirational leaders who candidly share insights to their experiences and challenges. Participants also have the opportunity to share stories, difficulties and solutions with peers from a diverse range of sectors, backgrounds and industries.

The 2019 Signature Leadership Program includes:

  • Ongoing interaction with a strong network of diverse leaders
  • Residential opening and closing retreats (accommodation and catering included)
  • Eleven full-day experiences
  • Two three-day field trips to regional Western Australia (flights, accommodation, and catering included)
  • Interaction and discussion on leadership with influential leaders from across the State
  • Access to topical readings and resources
  • Access to an online community to foster meaningful connections with other leaders
  • Shared learnings

Each experience runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm and includes:

  • In-depth exploration of key issues facing Western Australia
  • Discussion of leadership examples specific to
    Western Australia

Featured extras include:

  • 4 Executive Coaching sessions with an Accredited Coach
  • Access to program mentorship from the Alumni community
  • Invitations to exclusive alumni events, including site visits
  • Opportunity to access additional Executive Coaching, at Leadership WA rates

  • Pre-reading, action learning and reflective practice

Each experience runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm and includes:

  • In-depth exploration of key issues facing Western Australia
  • Discussion of leadership examples specific to Western Australia

PROGRAM DETAILS

Leadership WA’s premium leadership development program offers a ten-month facilitated program. This includes one full day every 2-4 weeks, on-site visits, two field trips into the regions of Western Australia, two retreats, guest speakers, PRINT psychometric testing and professional development sessions with certified executive coaches. Please note the Opening Retreat, Closing Retreats, and field trips require travel away. All other experiences run from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

  • Governor’s Opening Reception – First week of February (date & time TBC)
  • Experience 2: 28 February
  • Experience 3: 21 March
  • Experience 4: 10 April
  • Experience 5: 1 May
  • Experience 6: 22 – 24 May – Field trip
  • Experience 7: 13 June
  • Experience 8: 2 July – Mid Year Reflections
  • Experience 9: 24 July
  • Experience 10: 8 August
  • Experience 11: 28 – 30 Aug – Field trip
  • Experience 12: 18 September
  • Experience 13: 15 October
  • Experience 14: 31 October
  • Closing Retreat: 14 & 15 November
  • Graduation: 20 November (6pm to 9.30pm)

PROGRAM FEES

Organisational fee: $12,155
Personal fee: $2,255
Total Investment: $14,410
Includes GST and all program costs, including experiences, retreats, field trip travel and accommodation. Excludes transport to and from experiences and personal expenses.

If necessary, we can arrange for a payment schedule and also assist with providing information for a business case.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT
In 2015 we completed a research study with Murdoch University which identified that through our methodologies and reflection practice we increase leadership wisdom. Leadership WA graduates become leaders in their organisations and the community, and contribute their skills to building the capacity of others.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FEE DISCOUNTS
Applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of their personal or organisational financial situation. Applicants may be eligible to apply for consideration of a fee discount or scholarship support.

If funding is unavailable we encourage applicants to apply for a Lotterywest Organisational Development Grant. Applications can be made through the Lotterywest website. Please note the application process may take 3 months.
